Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s Featured Collection – TIMBER –
Great Outdoors…..
For my Timber Australasian Close To My Heart Blog Hop post I decided I was going to do a scrapbook layout.
I found a similar layout on Pinterest that was used for a hiking layout however I thought this layout would go great with the Cricut® Timber Collection because of the trees and wood.
Timber felt really outdoorsy to me so I’m planning on adding some photos from my son’s scouting adventures to this layout.
I decided that I would use the brown wood panel paper for the photos mats and for my title.
My “Adventure this Way” title was created using one of the Picture My Life™ cards as a guide.
Having not used daubers as much in my scrapbooking I thought I would try my hand at sponging on ink using a dauber onto a couple of the trees.
I used New England Ivy ink and dabbed the ink onto the trees, it gives the trees a nice textured look. Don’t you think?
