This paper pack is so bright and cheery, not to mention perfect for both male and female birthday party scrapbook layouts.

When “playing” with this paper, I decided to use photos from my son’s 4th birthday.

Party Time Layout 1…

Here in my first layout, I combined the Party Time paper with leftover wooden buttons and acrylic heart’s from other paper packs to create a hot air balloon.

The title “Celebrate” was from the sticker sheet and I tried to make it replicate a sign flying through the air.

My original idea was to have the photos hanging from the balloon but as you can see it was not going to work. So I changed it to a basket and added the number 4 to it.

When creating the hot air balloon, I found an image in Cricut design space of a hot air balloon and then cut out the basic shape.

Before adding the buttons and hearts, I coloured the buttons using our Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers.

After sticking all the buttons and hearts down I added clear shimmer brush to the buttons and added Waterfall Stickles to the acrylic hearts.

Party Time Layout 2…

My second layout was created using a pattern from Make it from your heart Vol. 2.

As the photos I wanted to use were from my son’s 4th birthday party, I wanted lots of the B&T paper that spoke “birthday”.

I deliberately left some white areas as the paper is quite busy so I didn’t add to many embellishments, just a few stickers here and there.

I decided to change one the photo mats to a journalling box as I only had 5 photos and all my photos were horizontal, so there were not going to fit on the layout.

However, with some thought and strategic cutting I made them fit.

Just A Tip I’ve learnt….

When taking your photos, take some in horizontal and portrait orientation so then you can decide which ones will work well for your scrapbook layouts. 🙂
